About Ken Starks

After his military service and two successful business ventures, Ken was not ready to retire. He became active in his community and took note of financially-disadvantaged students whose families could not afford a computer. He started a non profit that took in old or broken computers, refurbished them; then placed them in the homes of those children.

Ken and the many volunteers who worked with The Helios Project and Reglue have provided 2,278 families with the computers they need for home, work, school and college. Not one of them paid a dime for those computers. He has been a computer technician for close to 20 years.
